Description / Veniard Pheasant Cock Knotted Tail
The Pheasant Cock Knotted Tail is the centre piece tail supplied on the quill. Each fibre on this feather has already been double knotted to make it easier when tying wet and dry Trout flies.
These double knotted tail feathers main purpose is for legs, specifically on hopper and daddy long leg patterns to give the legs a realistic look. The feathers being double knotted on the steam make them much easier to work with.
Common flies that use the Pheasant Cock Knotted Tail feathers include the Gorgeous George Hopper, the CDC Hopper Claret and Daddy Long Legs.
In each pack there is 1 Pheasant Cock Knotted Tail that is approximately 13.5cm in length x 4.5cm in width and it comes in 5 different colours. These are Natural, Black, Claret, Orange and Red.
