Penn Tidal Rod

The Penn Tidal Rod range are ultra strong and perfect for surfcasting applications. Delivering the perfect balance between strength and sensitivity to maximise your fishing experience.

These rods are designed with durable but lightweight and responsive 30T carbon blanks that help deliver exceptional distance casting. All rods are combined with a Sensitip for to help improve bite detection and show the smallest bites.

Each rod is fitted with special K-type guides to help minimise tangles and are saltwater proof to make sure you will not get any issues with casting, even in windy conditions.

Next to that, all rods are coming with a comfortable shrink-wrap handle and special casting grip. The range consists of four unique models that can be recognised by colour – all being different with respect to the power.

The metallic silver PENN Tidal (50-200g) version is made for the lighter fishing styles like e.g. beach ledgering or fishing from a pier where no heavy tackle is required.

The metallic green (100-225g) version and metallic blue (100-250g) versions are real all-round surfcasting rods that can be used under any kind of condition.

However, when distance and power is all that matters, the metallic red PENN Tidal (100-300g) version is the rod that you need to get the job done.

The Penn Tidal Rods have 3 piece sections and each rod is supplied with a cloth bag for easy transport.
