Penn Slammer III

The popular Penn Slammer III fixed spool reel is making a comeback for boat and shore anglers and now features a new IPX6 Sealed System to keep water out of the gear box and utilises an updated Slammer drag system for outstanding performance. The Slammer III won the ICAST 2016 Best Saltwater Reel category.

The Slammer III is designed specifically for heavy duty styles of fishing from boats or on the shore and is built using a highly durable, full metal body, side plate and rotor. The IPX6 sealed body and spool design ensures water stays out the gear box and the drag system for enhanced durability and life span.

The Sealed Slammer drag system utilises Penn’s proprietary Dura- Drag material to give improved durability and the 6 + 1 stainless steel bearing system provides smooth performance every time.

The CNC Gear technology is constructed from a computer controlled system that provides precise machining to exact technical specifications to make this reel function smoothly and with ease.

The saltwater Penn Slammer III has a classic and stunning black and gold colour combination that stands out amongst the crowd and is supplied with two different handle knobs. One is solid and a gold colour, the other knob is black coloured and made from foam.
