Penn Senator

The Penn Senator Reels need no introduction, first launched in 1936 the senator series of reels have stood the test of time. With more IGFA big game records than any other reel it is no wonder it has the reputation of being an absolute workhorse of an offshore reel.

Made from the highest quality of materials these reels feature bakelight side plates with stainless steel reinforcement rings which enhances the frames rigidity preventing frame flex when under pressure. The machined and anodised aluminium spool makes for a professional and incredibly strong long lasting finish that will stand up to the toughest of saltwater conditions.

The marine grade bronze main gearing system is built to withstand the toughest of conditions and the HT100 drag washers provide a smooth drag even under heavy loads. The multi star disc drag system allows you to quickly lockdown on those hard fighting fish with ease at the most crucial points during a fight.

Each reel also features 2 stainless steel shielded ball bearings which are designed to withstand the toughest of saltwater conditions and the shielding helps prevent salt and dirt from impacting on the reels incredibly smooth rotation.

The Senator features a super tough stainless steel reel foot for mounting onto your chosen rod securing the reel in place so you can be 100% confident even when playing the hardest fighting fish.

Each reel features an oversized convertible power handle which allows you to convert more power per crank of the reel than other models on the market, the oversized handle also provides you with extra grip and added comfort which is crucial during a long battle.
