Penn Regiment III Halibuster

Introducing the Penn Regiment III Halibuster is the ultimate range of rods for targeting large halibut and deep water species. These rods have incredible amounts of back bone that will give you all the confidence you need to land that fish of a lifetime.

Produced from a high modulus 30T carbon blank which is super strong making it ideal for tackling large fish and for putting extra pressure on to tame those fish. These rods also utilise SLS3 blank construction which makes them much lighter and gives them an overall thinner rod blank providing you with a nicer in hand feel so you can use these rods all day long.

These rods have been specially designed with a unique action and feature a super sensitive tip section for ultimate bite detection and an incredibly powerful backbone which enables you to put some extreme pressure on those large 2m plus halibut.

Fitted throughout the rod is high quality saltwater proof SeaGuide guides which are super strong and fully saltwater resistant preventing them from corroding and wearing. These rods also have a comfortable ergonomic EVA handle which provides you with plenty of grip and maximised comfort for those long sessions out on the water. Each butt handle features a cross gimbal for utilising with a butt pad which will make playing larger hard fighting fish easier as it provides you extra support.

These rods are finished in an attractive black and gold finish and are supplied in a protective cloth rod bag for the ultimate protection when storing and transporting.
