Nikwax TX.Direct® Spray-On is a powerful, easy-to-use waterproofer designed specifically for breathable waterproof clothing with wicking liners.
Whether you’re fishing, hiking, or just battling the elements, this spray restores water repellency and breathability, keeping you dry and comfortable without the need for a tumble dryer.
Unlike traditional waterproofing products, TX.Direct® Spray-On is non-flammable, PFC-free, and environmentally friendly. It targets the outer fabric of your jacket—especially vulnerable areas like seams, shoulders, and elbows—without affecting the inner lining’s performance. This makes it the go-to choice for garments like Gore-Tex®, eVent®, Sympatex®, and Nikwax Analogy®.
Breathable waterproof gear relies on Durable Water Repellency (DWR) to stop the outer fabric from absorbing water. When DWR wears off, the outer layer becomes saturated, trapping sweat and reducing comfort. Nikwax TX.Direct® restores this protective layer and allows your garment to breathe again, so you stay warmer and drier for longer.
If your jacket has stopped shedding water, don’t rush to replace it—revive it. First clean it with Nikwax Tech Wash® to remove dirt and detergent residues. If your garment has a wicking lining, follow up with TX.Direct® Spray-On to re-proof and restore performance. For non-wicking linings, use TX.Direct® Wash-In instead.

Instructions for use
IMPORTANT: Shake bottle well before use. Always clean garment first with Nikwax Tech Wash.
Protect your work surface from overspray.
Spray evenly onto a clean, wet garment from 15cm away.
Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Remove any excess product with a damp cloth.
Air dry. No tumble drying required.
