Metz Grade 2 Cock Neck

The Metz Grade 2 Cock Neck is less expensive than the Grade 1 but offers more quality in the feathers and hackles than the Grade 3 option.

The feathers on this neck are primarily used for dry trout fly tying and are ideally suited as parachute hackle. If there are feathers long enough on the neck, you can also utilise these for streamer patterns.

Common flies found with the Cock Neck feathers is the Klink and Dink, Soir Klink and Detached Mayfly Dun.
