Description / Metz Grade 1 Cock Neck
This is the Metz Cock Neck available in Premium Grade 1. These high quality feathers have a full range of stiff hackles, perfect for small Trout dry fly tying.
The feathers on the cock neck are usually found tied as parachute hackle on Trout dry flies, specifically Klink Hammers. The feather steams are long and stiff which is also great for streamer patterns on Pike flies.
Common flies found with the Cock Neck grade 1 feathers is the Klink and Dink, Soir Klink and Detached Mayfly Dun.
This cock neck is a Metz Grade 1 meaning the feathers have high quality barbs and are suitable for tying smaller size flies due to their smaller sized barbs.
