The Major Craft Triple Cross Surf is perfect rod for anglers looking to cast lures a long way while still maintaining the required sensitivity to work lures and detect takes.

This rod is part of the Surf range and is designed for saltwater anglers looking to target bass in rough conditions or extract pollock from snaggy ground but will perform equally as well for freshwater anglers looking for a lightweight pike lure rod or salmon spinning rod.

The Triple Cross Surf is built around Major Craft's X-Custom blank, which sees three types of high modulus carbon merged with 4-axis carbon and carbon tape.

The result is a crisp, regular fast action blank which is easy to compress and cast a lure a long way while still feeling ultra lightweight in the hand.

The action of the rod means the tip retains the required sensitivity to work lures and detect bites while the lower section packs plenty of power to play hard fighting fish.

Fuji guide with SIC inserts allow the line to flow off the reel freely and an anti tangle tip ring helps prevent tangles and crack offs.

A gloss black Fuji reel seat and abbreviated EVA grips make the rod comfortable to use and easy to grip when casting and retrieving. The reel seat has been moved up the blank slightly on this rod resulting in a longer handle which increases leverage and further improves casting distance. This also has the effect of balancing the rod and making the tip feel lighter and more responsive.

A gloss black blank is finished with orange trims and the rod is supplied in a quality cloth rod bag.
