Loop Evotec Cast Series Double Handed Fly Rod

Designed for the pursuit of Salmon and large Game fish is the Loop Evotec Cast Series Double Handed Fly Rod. These rods are a genuine work of art with one of a kind, colour coded rod blanks to identify each action of each rod. From this range, we have the Medium Fast and Fast action rods.

The CAST in the title stands for Colour, Action, Sequence, Tempo. This concept is to provide anglers with flexibility in colour coded rod actions for any given fly fishing environment. Another part of this concept is to achieve superior castability and fishability throughout this range. With the integration of Loop's DCT technology and leading taper designs, these rods will surpass performance expectations.

The double handed rods produce paramount performance and durability due to the DCT (Dynamic Core Technology) applied during the construction of every single rod. DCT uses particular inter-layering sequences of carbon fibre which work together along with the blank to create excellent strength, throughout the entire rod. The tip recovery and durability are also improved due to this technology.

The actions of the double handed Evotec Cast Series we have in stock are available in the Medium Fast and Fast actions. Below, we have provided two descriptions of each action.

Medium Fast
The Medium fast action rod is available in a 14ft9 and has a stunning pearlised grey colour as it's identifier. The medium fast action allows you to punch tight loops into the wind, yet provides a deeper flex into the blank than a fast action rod.

The medium fast double handed rods are designed freshwater fishing and give you consistent power throughout your casting stroke. This action will still offer a level of flex that will protect you from breaking off a fish and give you performance benefits of a fast action rod.

The double handle is made from high quality, AAA grade cork along with a unique triangular reel seat. Each section features white dot marks to line up your sections correctly and the guides are a mix of ceramic stripping guides and chrome snake guides.

The double handed, medium fast action rod is a 4 piece design and is supplied with it's own matching pentagonal tube and cloth bag.

Fast
The Fast action, double handed rods are available in a 14ft9 size and are best suited to anglers who have a good casting and timing technique.

The fast action is finished off in a beautiful pearlised blue colour and you can cast a wide range of lines from this rod. The stiff blank on a fast action rod will increase the rod's power to bring in a fish more quickly and the stiffness of the blank also means less flex which helps fighting larger fish.

The stiffness combined with the strength of the rod, makes it much easier to handle heaver lines and this rod will easily handle punching your line out, even in windy weather. The double handed will be able to present your flies with power and finesse, across a large distance.

The handle is made from AAA grade cork and has a triangular reel seat. There is also titanium stripping guides, hard chrome snake rings and. White dot markings on each section to line up your rod sections correctly.

The double handed, fast action rod is also a 4 piece design and is supplied with it's own matching pentagonal tube and cloth bag.
