Description / Veniard Jay Wing Hackles
The Jay Wing Hackles are high quality selected vibrant blue barred feathers. These almost ultra violet blue coloured feathers are absolutely stunning and visually striking. Mainly used on classic Salmon flies as well as Trout wet flies, these feathers are sure to grab the attention from plenty of fish!
These feather hackles can be used on small Salmon flies as cheeks and as throat or head hackle on Bumble wet flies.
The barred hackle feathers can be seen on common flies such as the Blue Jay fly, Jay Yellow and Jay Blue.
Each feather is approximately 5cm in length x 1.5cm in width. There are 10 feathers per pack so there is a good amount of feathers to use for fly tying!
