Hodgman Aesis Shell Jacket

Whether it is a downpour or a light shower, the Hodgman Aesis Shell Jacket lets you focus on the fishing with its durable 3-layer, waterproof, windproof and breathable V-TecH fabric.

This coat is built with fully taped seams throughout and features V-TecH technology that uses ultra-breathable vapour transfer technology with a hydrophilic membrane to pull moisture away from the body. The V-TecH construction also improves breathability as well has enhancing abrasion resistance and waterproof protection.

The Range of Motion (ROM) fit also helps give better freedom of movement and allows you to cast much more freely with minimal resistance. The gusset under the arm and articulated designed sleeves reduce binding along the shoulders when casting for maximum comfort.

The hood is integrated with a wired design and 3-way adjustment system that seals out the rain from entering and keeps your field of vision clear at all times. There are also water tight cinch cuffs to stop water running down your sleeves when casting or releasing a fish.

As for storage, there are large chest pockets that can hold your fly boxes and there are a number of interior and exterior pockets for additional storage. There is also a removable magnetic patch on the chest for quick fly or hook storage when changing out presentations for your next cast. The front and back also include D-rings for accessory attachment and net placement on your back.

The jacket is also designed to be worn under waders without the jacket being pushed up towards your neck. There are specialised belt catch loops which help keep the jacket securely in place when you are pulling your waders up.
