The Hardy Ultralite Fly Rod is a game changer. This four piece fly rod is designed with brand new Sintrix NSX technology for an unbelievable light weight and enhanced responsiveness for unparalleled feel and control.

These fly rods offer anglers a wide range of lengths and AFTM ratings to suit light river fishing tactics and for bigger reservoir fishing scenarios. The rods now feature Sintrix NSX which is based on Hardy’s industry famous Sintrix technology.

The Sintrix NSX ultilises the same technolocy as before but now includes a combined, secondary classified additive that allows much lower pre-preg weights to be achieved. This lightweight material keeps the blank light in weight whilst maintaining the overall strength.

This results in a much more responsive blank, allowing anglers to detect the line better during the casting stroke for improved handling and control. The reel seat is designed to move more of the rods weight percentage to provide improved in-hand balance.

The single start threads resist the reel loosening under heavy use and a keyed body further ensures a snug and secure fit for your reel. Each rod is fitted with ceramic lined titanium recoil guides and the reel seat is laser engraved with the line size.

The Hardy Ultralite Fly Rod is supplied with it’s own premium Hardy rod tube and is available in a wide range of models for you to choose from.
