The Greys GR80 Double Handed Fly Rod is a powerful casting machine and offers anglers a superb performance, perfect for use on medium and large rivers. These brand new high-performance double handed rods feature Grey’s innovative 3M Powerlux technology.

This technology provides anglers with a blank that is 60% stiffer than common epoxy resin blanks due to the resin being infused into the high sheer modulus carbon construction. This process compensates for low compression strength, increasing the rod's durability and power by up to 30% over standard fibre technology.

The technology also provides a lightweight without compromising strength and gives a fast, refined action that will work with you to produce longer casts. The enhanced strength in the rod and increased impact resistance through the blank will help you bring in larger fish quicker and easier.

To get you out fishing quicker, you can line up your rod eyes much more efficiently and easily due to the rod line up I.D markers. There is also a hook keeper which allows you to wind your line in tight when walking from one section of the river to the next.

The rod includes superior quality, AAA cork handles for a comfortable and supportive grip. Each rod is supplied in a rod tube to allow for easy and convenient transportation.
