Greys GR80 Competitor Special Fly Rod

The Greys GR80 Competitor Special Fly Rod has been specifically designed for competition anglers. It has been built to endure the exciting and fast nature of fly fishing competitions and will provide you with that upper hand against your competitors.

Infused with 3M Powerlux Nano Composite technology, these rods have increased stiffness throughout the blank and results in a blank that is up to 30% stronger over standard fibre technology. This additional strength throughout the blank will help you get fish under control far quicker as well as casting heavy sink lines with ease.

Additional features of the 3M Powerlux technology includes a lighter weight blank and a fast, refined action that delivers phenomenal casting performance. Each rod is equipped with a hook keeper ring which you can rely on to maintain the hook until its next outing. There are also rod alignment dots which will help you to piece the rod together quickly and efficiently.

Additional features of this rod include AAA cork handles and a custom Grey’s reel seat. These rods are supplied in a rod tube to allow for easy and convenient transportation.
