Fulling Mill Articulated Whistler

The Fulling Mill Articulated Whistler is simply a devastating pike fly pattern, this articulated version of the classic whistler fly has even more kick and extra movement in the tail, that is sure to encourage any nearby predators to hit your fly.

Using the same long flashabou tail as the original that flutters in the water, whilst adding a longer and more mobile marabou collar that pulsates when stripped, giving off plenty of colour and flash and extra movement that can be picked up on a pikes lateral line causing them to surge in and take you fly.

This articulated pike fly style can be incredibly effective as the fly has increased movement even on slower retrieves due to the articulated body. This articulated style means you can fish this pattern on a fast or slow retrieve depending on the conditions on that day, it also gives the fly an incredible action as it is dropping through the water column giving the impression of an injured or dying fish.
