Description / Franc N Snaelda Feelers
The Franc N Snaelda Feelers are stripped Cock hackle feathers that are excellent for fly tying your favourite Salmon feeler flies and are available in a variety vibrant colours.
Stripped Cock hackles naturally have stiff barbs to help keep their shape when in the water and this feeler material is a good alternative to boar bristles. These feelers will work perfectly for imitating the insect feelers found on shrimp and are great for fly tying your own Shrimp and Snaelda patterns.
Each feather is delicately prepared and dyed by Franc N Snaelda and we stock the large size which is ideal for using with the Signature tubes in sizes 10mm, 14mm and 19mm.
Some examples of flies that you can find on our website that are tied with feelers is the Park Shrimp Patriot Feeler Double and the Black Highlander Shrimp - Conehead Feeler.
The Franc N Snaelda Feelers are supplied with 20 feelers per pack and are available in various colours that you can select from our drop down menu.
