Fox Edges Soft Tapered Leader

The Fox Edges Soft Tapered Leader is designed to take the shock of casting heavier leaders or spods long distances and helps prevent crack offs occurring.

These leaders are made from durable monofilament and have low memory to reduce kinks and low stretch for increased sensitivity. These leaders are also very durable and have high abrasion resistance for long lasting use.

They are great for Coarse fishing and the leader design gradually tapers down from 30lb-12lb which is ideal for fly fishing applications.

The tapered design allows you to use a thick shock leader but only have a small knot attaching it to the main line which helps increase the distances you can achieve when casting.

We have the 12-30lb breaking strain available of the Fox Edges Soft Tapered Leader and it is a translucent khaki colour with 3 leaders supplied per spool, each are 12m long.
