Flyline Winder

The Fly Line Winder reduces line twist on your fly lines and is an incredibly fast, convenient way to load new lines onto your reels and wind off your reel for storage.

This fly line winder features a clamp, which allows you to fix it to your table or desk. It uses large metal spokes and your fly line will sit securely in the V shaped sections. To take your fly line off your reel, simply wind the end onto the winder for a few turns to the right and then backwards for a few turns to secure the line on the winder. Then using left or right hand turns, wind your fly line completely off your reel. You can use small tags to wrap around your fly line to hold the line together. Then unscrew the securing screw and collapse down the spokes to easily remove the wound line.

The collapse down feature also makes your line winder easy to store away. The large winded fly line coil made from the winder makes it ideal for storing away particularly in winter. This is because the larger coil is less likely to tangle and become mis-shapen helping to also pro-long the life of your line.

To wind onto your reel, perform the same steps but backwards. This winder also allows you to change lines quickly without tangles and can be used to clean and dry out your lines.
