Down East The Salty Rod Holder

The Down East The Salty Rod Holder has an all metal construction, designed to provide maximum durability and a secure hold for your rod suitable for all but the heaviest fishing.

This rod holder is the s-10 model and is fitted with a double clamp mount that is able to open up to 2 inches for you to mount and remount in a variety of places. This holder is perfect for fish species up to 85lbs and fishing with line up to 100lbs test.

When your rod is seated in the holder, it will hold your rod securely and when a fish strikes, simply lift straight up on your rod, setting the hook at the same time. This holder is designed so there is no need to press anything to release or unclip.

You can use this rod holder for rods up to 1-3/8” in diameter and rods with triggers or pistol grips. You can use this rod holder for your fly rod, spinning rig, baitcasting or saltwater reels and it maintains excellent durability in the coldest weather conditions.

The Down East “The Salty” Rod Holder has been time tested since 1946 and has a metal coloured finish. With each rod holder, there is a set of instructions included in the pack.
