First things first I am new to spinning/lure fishing and did not want to spend a huge amount of money. I spoke to the guys at Angling Active on the phone and the person I spoke to explained that this combo would be ideal for what I wanted. He also confirmed that the rod and reel would be perfectly matched.
I have to say rod and reel exceeded my expectations for the price. Both feel like real quality. The rod has a fantastic action and is light and sturdy. The reel is super smooth. Together they are great for accurate casting.
