Roman Moser Salmon Braided Loops are connection Loops for flylines with a higher breaking strength than normal braided loops.
The Minicon must be kept in place with the waterproof and elastic miniconglue. Likewise if you want to fix a minicon to the rear end of the flyline you can very simply knot on there the backing.
