The 12ft Prowla 3.0lb test curve is the ultimate pike rod. Made from high modulus carbon its smooth tip to butt through action provides plenty of power for casting live or dead baits medium to long range, and for setting hooks, but will give if a pike lunges away as you are about to net it, thus avoiding hook pulls. It’s fitted with nine SIC rings, including a braid safe underslung tip guide and a Greys reel seat that’s large enough to cope with pit reels. As with all two piece rods in the Prowla range it folds exactly in half, ring to ring, to enable easy set up and take down on the bank, and is fitted with a keeper ring and run clip, plus traditional slim cork handle with flared Duplon butt protector.
This rod has everything a pike angler could want and more! It’s a superb bank rod for all bait methods.
