About the Penn Rampage Surf Rod
Available in either 13ft or 15ft 9in and designed to cast 4-6ozs (113/170g) the 3 piece 24-ton blank is fitted with Fuji rings throughout, an aluminium reel seat and features shrink tube fore grip. Although slim in diameter, and light in weight, this fast taper blank offers incredible bite detection at maximum range when targeting smaller species such as dabs and whiting, but has the power to launch 6ozs and bait when after big winter cod.

The action, though fast taper, is specifically designed to get the best from simple overhead casts, but also has the power to maximise casting distance when using the more powerful off-the-ground and basic pendulum casting styles.

About the Penn Surfblaster 8000FD
The Penn Surfblaster reel has been developed to achieve maximum casting distances. The low gear ratio (4.1:1) helps provide the surfblaster with immense winching power, combined with a long stroke aluminium spool which maintains a retrieval rate of almost 1m per turn. Perfect line lay every time
