About the Wychwood Truefly Fly Rod
The new 2014 Truefly rods offer a significant leap forwards in terms of value and performance. The blanks are slimmer, faster and lighter than their competitors, offering unrivalled performance for the price point. The range is built on a four-piece blank that is easier to store and the solid cordura tube offers plenty of protection for travel. The cork is AAA grade, offering perfect grip and long life, the rings are all hard chrome for durability and the reel seat is finished with a 3K carbon spacer detailing to reduce weight. Each individual rod action has been fine-tuned and honed by the casting guru, Charles Jardine, making each line size perfect for its intended use.

About the Truefly SLA Fly Reel
The new Truefly super large arbor (SLA) cassette reel has been created using the highest design specification, challenging the boundaries of production.

The Truefly SLA has the largest arbor and is the lightest reel in its class*, a seemingly unachievable feat. The lightweight design is attained by using a die-cast aluminium frame and cage, with as much material removed as possible without compromising on the engineered functionality.

This functionality together with the contemporary, registered design and a concealed rulon drag system illustrates a perfect blend of performance and aesthetics.

The Truefly SLA is available in black or warm grey and is packaged in a custom built EVA protective case, complete with two spare polycarbonate spools.

Charles Jardine has reached enviable status as a fly fisherman regarded by many around the world as a master of our sport. He is a modern day fly fishing virtuoso with an incredible pool of knowledge to draw upon, which is exactly what they have done! Over the past two seasons Charles has been working in collaboration with the Wychwood design team to bring to the bank a range of fly lines which have been commended for both their performance and simplicity.

In an often over-embellished world, these fly lines cut the bull and deliver to the consumer only what they require, when they require it.

These products simply do "exactly as it says on the tin." The no nonsense line types make it easy to select the correct line for the job. A refreshing change to the normal method of fly line retail.
