Wychwood PDR Fly Rods

The Wychwood PDR Fly Rods are specially tailored to modern predator fly fishing and have enough power with optimal action to cast large flies out to those big toothy predators!

These fly rods are constructed with a high modulus, multi-layered Toray carbon blank for phenomenal strength and flexibility to handle large predators. The blank construction delivers a smooth, powerful medium action which will effortlessly cope with casting large, air-resistant flies in all weather conditions.

Whilst delivering plenty of backbone and strength, the blank remains very light for the line ratings. This range is designed to cover still water, reservoir and boat fishing and saltwater applications.

The rod is fitted with high quality guides and features a machined, high gloss, anodised reel seat featuring the Wychwood logo. There are section alignment guides to help you put your rod together quickly and easily.

The handle is made from EVA for comfort and additional grip, particularly when wet. There is also a fighting butt on the end of each rod. Each rod is finished off with a matte black coloured black and high gloss black whippings with green highlights.
