Description / Waterworks Lamson Speedster HD Fly Reel
The Waterworks Lamson Speedster HD Fly Reel is built with the same narrow spool design as the Speedster but is built with a Heavy Duty, full cage design for maximum strength and superior construction.
The HD in the title stands for “heavy duty” and with a super strong machined 6061 aluminium and stainless steel construction and a complete caged design, this reel boasts phenomenal durability and toughness. The narrow spool on the reel will help stop line barrelling, eliminates line coil memory and the added circumference and inboard handle will help improve retrieve rate.
The impeccably smooth, conical drag system provides maintenance free performance and is completely sealed for additional durability. Throughout the reel is machined holes that help reduce weight and make the reel feel incredibly light yet still allows the frame to maintain it's strength and durability.
The finishing touches of the reel include the coating which is a proprietary combination of alloy selection and conversion coating called Hard Alox. This coating is much more durable than any other reel and provides enhanced resistance to abrasion, impact and corrosion.
