Waterworks Lamson Center Axis Rod and Reel

The Waterworks Lamson Center Axis Rod and Reel combines a rod and reel integrated into one. This concept closely aligns the centre mass of the Litespeed reel with the centre axis of the rod to de-lever the mass of the heavier object so you can feel every part of your cast and maximise performance.

The Center Axis Rod and Reel have a revolutionary design that gives fly fishers the balance, power and effortless performance they need when casting. Waterworks Lamson’s design concept shifts the centre of gravity of a fly reel to the rod axis and gives unprecedented feel and feedback throughout your cast.

The Center Axis rod is built from high modulus carbon fibre blanks for ultimate durability, performance and a light weight. The medium fast action gives a great deal of versatility and performance with a deeper flex into the blank and will suit most anglers.

The blank is fitted with quality snake guides and has dotted I.D markers so you can line up your rod sections correctly and quickly without the need to manually align the rod eyes. There is a hook keeper ring to wind your line in tight when walking from one place to another and the handle is made from AAA cork.

The Litespeed reel is matched perfectly to the model of rod and is secured on using an aluminium click-on Center Axis conventional screw reel mount standard seat. The Litespeed reel is incredibly lightweight with a Micralox coating for ultimate corrosion resistance and is built from machined 6061 aluminium and stainless steel for enhanced strength.

The rod and fly reel are balanced functionally and aesthetically, sporting matching grey colours with a subtle yet stylish two tone grey colour throughout the rod blank.

The Waterworks Lamson Center Axis Rod and Reel is supplied in its very own cordura carry tube with a section for holding the reel. Each rod is 9ft in length and has 4 sections. You can select your choice of model from our drop down menu.
