Veniard Amherst Pheasant Head Grade 2 Dyed

This is the Amherst Pheasant Head that comes dyed in 4 different vibrant colours. This head contains the tippets and the crest feathers. These feathers are the perfect choice for fly tying Salmon flies, Steelhead flies and some Spider flies.

These tippet feathers work well as tail material on your fly or equally well as a pair of matched wings on a fully dressed Salmon fly. They can be used for creating wings and tails as well as cheeks on Pike flies due to their size and are also commonly used by being wound as hackle on Spider flies.

The crest feathers are most commonly used as topping or tail material for Salmon flies.

Grade 2 is good as a low cost option and is much alike in quality to Grade 1 quality. This Amherst Grade 2 Head is approximately 15cm in length x 6cm in width and is great value for money as it provides a large amount of usable feathers.

The Amherst Pheasant feathers are stunningly beautiful and delicate. These Grade 2 Heads come in 4 different colours which are dyed Lime, Orange, Purple and Red.
