I bought this rod yesterday because I'd like to have a go at LRF and I have spinners that are to light for my other spin/lure rod, any way I thought I'd have a quick go last night to see how it performs on the loch on the brownies but with a 1gram spinner which it throws very well I hooked a 5lb pike!! Fantastic fun!!! Super sensitive but with enough power to land the pike and let him go again safely, can't recommend this little rod enough!!!

Bought the rod unseen based upon internet reviews. Glad I did. I wanted the 7ft 6inch length but the sensitivity of the smaller rod. I shouldn't have worried. Been flicking out 1 gram jigs no problem and the sensitivity through the rod is excellent. Angling Active were first class. Confirmation and dispatch emails were great and kept me informed. Rod was delivered in a sturdy tube. One of the rod rings had worn a small hole in the rod bag but the rod itself was unmarked.

I have used this rod as a small commercial carp rod,i was given the rod as I was looking for a small method feeder rod for fishing snakes and have caught f1's up to round 8lb so far.I have been using the L model but will buy a Ml and give that a go also.

I bought one of these about a year ago as I was interested in having a go at LRF for the first time but didn't want to spend a fortune. I have to say its the most fun bit of tackle I've bought for ages, It's caught everything from blennies and sea scorpions from rock pools to coalfish, flounders, pollack and mackerel, great fun, I like it so much that I've ordered one up for my sons Christmas, a great wee rod.

This rod is very sensitive and to me as good as any other expensive rockfishing rod I have. The overall feel and balance is great. Perfect rod for light rockfishing, streetfishing and dropshot fishing. Very recommended.
