The Simms BugStopper SunGaiter - Pre 2020 provides full coverage to give you complete protection from the sun and from annoying, biting bugs. This high-tech fabric boasts high breathability and comfort for all day use when you are fishing.

The BugStopper SunGaiter - Pre 2020 uses a special Insect Shield treatment combined with a SolarFlex stretch fabric. The SolarFlex has an Ultraviolet Protection Factor of 50 so it only allows 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This keeps your skin highly protected from UV rays and drastically reduces your skin's UV radiation exposure.

The Insect Shield treatment offers superior protection against bugs as the treatment is very tightly bonded to the fabric fibres. This means that the treatment will be effectively repellent throughout the lifetime of the SunGaitor.

The material itself is very light in weight and has quick-dry materials along with laser-cut breathing holes at the front for ventilation. The SunGaitor includes a longer cape for improved coverage at the neckline and a taller fit at the back so it can slide securely up and over a cap.

The Simms BugStopper SunGaiter - Pre 2020 is available in one size with a good amount of stretch in the fabric for a comfortable fit. This SunGaitor is available in the colour Pico Camo Mineral.
