The Simms Bugstopper Hoody is a lightweight hoody which blocks biting bugs and the sun from ruining your day on the water. Biting bugs will challenge the resolve of even the most dedicated angler and this hoody sports Insect Shield Repellent for long-lasting relief from biting insects.

Additionally, the active ingredient in this repellent is so tightly bonded to the fabric fibres that it retains effective repellency throughout the lifetime of the product. This hoody also features a COR3 technology fabric finish which helps minimise odour and increases wicking performance for important moisture management.

This hoody has a UPF rating of 30. UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 30 will only allow 1/30th of the sun's UV radiation to be absorbed and provides exceptional protection.
