Description / Shimano STC Surf Rod
The Shimano STC Surf Rods are the successors of the Beastmaster STC Surf rods and are perfect for surf casting anglers who are travelling to abroad fishing destinations.
These rods have a 6 piece easy to travel and store construction. The rods are suitable for all-round beach/surf casting and they are stronger than conventional surf rods, making them very suitable for big fish from the shore / beach.
The rod blank is constructed from a XT60 carbon fibre material and NANO carbon technology. This combination produces an incredibly durable and exceptionally strong blank that is on average 35% stronger and 15% lighter than a conventional rod blank.
The reel seat is a specialised Shimano reel seat for high quality and the handle has a shrink tube, cross tape grip for comfort. Fitted throughout the rod are also durable Shimano stainless steel hardlite guides.
The Shimano STC Surf Rod is supplied in a hard case tube and is available in different models for you to choose from our drop down menu.
