Super compact and lightweight, the telescopic Shimano STC Exage BX Tele-Spin is the perfect travel companion. This spinning rod can telescope down to a tiny 65cm for easy transportation and trips abroad.
The Exage BX Tele-Spin is the slightly bigger model of the Mini Tele-Spin but will still fit easily into your luggage, bags and rucksacks for travel to and from your destination. With a weight of only 154g, you will find this rod effortless to take with you when you are fishing and will cause you no hassle when on the move.
The construction features XT60 carbon blanks for high durability and gives the rod a light weight. The Shimano stainless steel hardlite guides are built with superior strength and performance. The guides feature an Aero Guide system for a faultless, inline guide setting and will help improve casting distance by reducing friction on your line.
The reel seat features Shamino's innovative Vibraspot design which is moulded to ergonomically fit the placement of your thumb. Along with the design of the exposed reel seat, you will be able to feel the smallest takes and the fish on the line coming down the blank. Just above the quality cork handle you'll find a convenient hook keeper ring for you to wind your line in tight and allow you to easily walk from place to place when fishing.
This rod is provided with it's own carry case that allows you to pack away your rod with your reel still attached. When you are collapsing your rod we suggest you use two hands to gently grip and twist the blank, guiding the sections downwards. Please try to avoid pushing hard or forcing the section down as this is sure to damage the eyes, whipping and varnish.
