Shimano Baitrunner CI4+ XTR-A Longcast

The Shimano Baitrunner CI4+ XTR-A Longcast is built with Carbon Interfusion composite for a super light weight and mind blowing durability for ultra smooth performance for ultimate long distance casting.

CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 and is a superior highly technical material that is 2.5 times stiffer than CI4. This material helps to reduce weight in reels and the use of CI4+ for the body and rotor also delivers remarkable stiffness for better reel efficiency.

This baitrunner includes Shimano X-ship engineering technology and 6 Shielded AR-C bearings for maximum smoothness and efficiency. There are also 6 Shielded AR-C bearings for maximum smoothness and efficiency and the Aero Wrap II, plus 2-speed slow oscillation ensures superb line lay, which in turn improves distance casting by reducing line friction to a minimum.

Combining the Aero Wrap II oscillation system with the AR-C spool enhances casting performance and includes an angled spool lip design. This design enables the line to leave the spool with less friction and in smaller coils resulting in longer more accurate casts. AR-C spools are proven to reduce backlash and wind knots when using braid.

The reel also includes a large aluminium handle, powerful gear ratios and a multidisc front drag all working together to create phenomenal winding power and brilliant fish-playing control both at a distance and close to the net.

The Shimano Baitrunner CI4+ XTR-A Longcast we have is the big, free spool version and is beautifully finished with absolutely stunning cosmetics. Including a striking black coloured body with subtle, glittering details throughout and silver coloured accents.
