The latest range from Sharpes of Aberdeen is the Gordon 4, which is a further development from the highly successful Gordon and Gordon 2 rods.
Continuing with the tradition of being extremely light, it is constructed using the same multi-modulus carbon mix blank as in the previous Gordon models. These rods are a joy to cast with the popular middle to tip action and even the lighter weighted rods have plenty of power if needed.
They are a 4-piece rod and beautifully finished in the old Aquarex colours of translucent green with burgundy whipping, high grade cork handle, alignment arrows, aluminium oxide stripper rings and chrome American pattern snake rings. The rods are supplied in a dark green cloth rod bag with red piping cloth and a green Cordura covered tube.

Trout Fisherman said......"It's not an easy task to replicate the action and feel of a 2 or 3 piece rod into a 4-piece version, but Sharpe's have managed to do this very well, whilst also keeping the rod's responsive middle to tip action, so popular with previous models."
