Shakespeare Salt XT Surf

The Shakespeare Salt XT Surf rods are available in a fixed spool or multiplier model to suit the casting distance you wish to achieve.

The multiplier model features a fast progressive blank that provides easy long range casting but also maximum bite detection. The rod is fitted with a sliding reel seat to easily fit your multiplier reel and the rod is fitted with salt-waterproof zirconium oxide guides.

The multiplier model is ideally suited for use on clean and mixed ground beaches for general species including bass, cod, rays, flatfish and whiting.

The fixed spool version has a fast progressive taper action and a sensitive tip for improved bite indication, even at range. The powerful mid and butt also allow you to achieve maximum distance and whilst delivering optimum control.

This model is also fitted with a DPS style reel seat, special saltwater proof K-type guides and is ideal for medium to long range fishing on clean to mixed rough ground.

Both the fixed spool and multiplier model are designed with slim, high grade carbon blanks and feature hi-vis white tip sections for optimum bite detection. The two models also have X-shrink wrap casting grips and have rubber bulb rod butts.

The Shakespeare Salt XT Surf rods are 3 piece models and are supplied with cloth bags for easy carrying.
