Shakespeare Agility 2 Rough Ground Surf

The Shakespeare Agility 2 Rough Ground Surf rods are part of Shakespeare’s new excellent value sea fishing range. Their key signature is the slim and lightweight blanks that are designed to be used on mixed to rough ground.

There are two models in this range; a 12ft and a 13ft and both have 2 piece section designs. The 12ft can be fished with a fixed spool reel and is perfect for general beach fishing for species like Flatfish, Whiting, Cod, Bass and Rays. It has a rating of 4-6oz and also works great when you are pier or breakwater fishing.

The 13ft model has a 5-7oz rating and has a more powerful blank and fast taper action for fishing in rough and heavy ground. This model is best suited to fishing for species like large Cod, Conger and Huss. This rod also works well when fishing for winter Cod, big shore Tope and Rays in fast tides and rough seas.

Each rod is built from a slim carbon fibre blank for maximum durability and features Zirconium Oxide Guides throughout. Each rod also has a stunning metallic blue colour with silver highlights and feature white coloured tip sections for excellent bite detection.

The Shakespeare Agility 2 Rough Ground Surf is available in a 12ft or 13ft model and is supplied with a high quality rod bag.
