The Semperfli Picric Acid Dyed Stripped Peacock Herl is supplied in a plentiful, large bunch for multiple fly tying uses and has been specially picric acid dyed to produce an enhanced colour.

These stripped peacock herls have been stripped and beached with picric acid to give them a stunning, vivid yellow colour and they are best used for Nymph flies.

They are usually wrapped around the hook to make bug bodies on Nymphs and Diawl Bach patterns. You can also use them as a substitute for Rhea on Intruder patterns.
