Savage Gear SG2 Medium Game Travel Rod

Specialised for using small to medium lures, the Savage Gear SG2 Medium Game Travel Rod has a compact 4 piece design for effortlessly taking with you on your fishing ventures!

The 4 piece design makes this rod highly compact, perfect for storing and taking with you on fishing holidays. The rod is designed with a fast, yet forgiving action, to play the fish safely without hook pulls or line breaks.

The blanks are made from Japanese Toray 24+30T carbon for high durability, balance and sensitivity. The rod is designed for use with small to medium lures including soft plastics, cranks, spinners, spoons and twitch baits, Carolina rigs etc.

The reel seat is made from high quality carbon and has a competition double locking design and the handle features a mix of EVA and hard plastic for a secure and comfortable grip.

The guides fitted throughout are Seaguide CCS stainless steel with SIN rings. The CCS standards for Coil Control Snake (CCS) guides and these taper smaller entry diameters from the bottom of the rod to the tip to help minimise line coils when your line leaves the guides.

The Savage Gear SG2 Medium Game Travel Rod is supplied with a matching rod bag as well as a zip up semi-hard case and is available in various models for you to choose from.
