Savage Gear MPP2 Baitfish Rod

The Savage Gear MPP2 Baitfish Rod has a strong blank construction for bait fishing for Pike and is ideally suited for short-range bank fishing or boat fishing.

The MPP2 in the title stands for Multi Purpose Predator and this rod is highly versatile, covering a wide range of modern bait fishing tactics. The blanks are constructed from high modulus carbon fibre for extreme durability and strength and offering a rod that has plenty backbone to deal with those toothy predators.

The rod is fitted with Coil Control Snake (CCS) guides and these feature smaller taper entry diameters, starting from the bottom of the rod to the tip. This helps minimise line coils when your line leaves the guides and also stop your line from touching the blank to reduce friction for enhanced casting distance and performance.

The handle is made from EVA for comfort and there is a reliable and tough Savage gear gold label DPS reel seat. The rod is primarily black in colour with orange highlights throughout.
