The Sage Accel Switch rod is designed with Generation 5 technology to deliver outstanding casting performance, responsiveness and value with no compromise. The Accel switch, allows anglers to cross between a single handed trout rod and a two handed Spey, to enjoy both worlds of Game fly fishing.
Each Accel rod is handcrafted in the USA and features a medium to fast action. This action offers anglers excellent versatility and performance with a deeper flex into the blank, which will still punch tight loops into the wind. This kind of action is great for anglers looking for a rod that is more forgiving yet still has the performance benefits of a fast action rod.
Designed using Generation 5 technology, this features an enhanced blank construction, using a unique, graphite hoop material, mixed with a carbon resin composite. This material, combined with modulus positioning, optimises the blank responsiveness, performance and improves cross-sectional durability for additional power and strength.
There are Fuji ceramic stripper guides and hard chromed snake guides, fitted throughout the rod. The handle features a quality cork fore grip and rear grip, along with a stunning stealth black anodised aluminium up-locking reel seat.
The Sage Accel Switch rod has a stunning, bright and alluring Emerald coloured blank, along with Olive green thread wraps with Garnet and black trim wraps. Each rod is supplied in a leaf green coloured, nylon ballistic rod tube with a divided liner.
