RIO Tarpon

The RIO Tarpon floating fly line is perfect for anglers fishing for Tarpon and other large tropical species due to its short, powerful front tapered design.

This fly line offers effortless casting and has a mid-length head of around 40ft. The head is powerful and heavy allowing the line to turn over large Tarpon flies with complete ease. Due to the design of the front taper, this is heavy enough to also load modern saltwater rods with complete ease.

Each line features an AgentX coating to give the line additional buoyancy and has an extreme slickness coating, built on a strong and medium stiff core which will not wilt in the heat. The line is built to handle warm tropical environments with a temperature use rating of 75-100°F/24-38°C.

The RIO Tarpon has welded loops on both ends for easy rigging and is available in various different sizes, featuring a DualTone Sea Grass/Sand colour.
