RIO InTouch Stillwater Floater

As the name suggests, the RIO InTouch Stillwater Floater fly line is specifically designed for stillwater applications and offers anglers versatility by easily casting long leaders and multi-fly set ups as well as turning over indicator rigs.

The front taper is short in length for power to turn over a large range of heavy flies and multiple fly setups. The line also features a slightly longer head length to help with line control.

Unique to stillwater and some sinking lines in the RIO range, this line includes unique “hang marker” to show you when to stop stripping and to fish the “hang”. The line features the ultra-low stretch ConnectCore material and this provides incredible levels of sensitivity for enhanced detection of subtle takes and more control when you are playing a fish.

The line includes Maxcast technology which helps the line to float higher, shoot farther, last longer and stay cleaner. In addition to that, the coatings advanced hydrophobic chemistry actively pushes water away from the line. This results in radically improved floatation and reduced dirt adhesion.

Furthermore, the Maxcast float tip technology solves a common problem of floating lines working just like sink tips. This is due to the reduced coating at the narrow, tapered end of most floating lines not having enough buoyancy to stay above the water.

Featuring AgentX technology, AgentX floating lines can use an inner layer along with more buoyant microspheres whereas the outer layer is formulated to provide maximum toughness and shooting ability. This bonds two separate coating layers onto one line for the best of both worlds.
