RIO DirectCore Permit

The RIO DirectCore Permit Fly Line is the perfect choice for tropical fishing and hard fighting permit! This line features an easy casting taper which loads at close range and there is a long back taper for fast, 2nd shot casts.

The front taper and weight distribution has been designed to provide soft presentations while also maintaining enough weight to cast typical crab patterns with ease. Each line has been built on RIO’s low-memory DirectCore which retains the stiffness that is needed for you to cast in hot conditions.

DirectCore is 25% stronger than other monofilament cores of equal size and stretches 30% less at the breaking point. The hard tropical coating will not wilt in the heat and there is a neat, bullet-proof welded loop on the front and rear end for fast rigging.

The AgentX technology utilises two layers through the line to provide maximum toughness and shooting ability. The XS technology (Extreme Slickness), focuses on creating an ultra slick line with dirt repelling tendencies. This makes the fly line slicker, more stable and makes it far less likely to attract dirt.

The line also includes a SureFire design which is a triple colour marking system. It will help improve casting accuracy by making it easy to gauge exact distances with a quick glance. In addition to that, the Easy ID marker shows anglers the model and line size and it is neatly printed on to the fly line itself.
