Richard Wheatley Deluxe Wooden Fly Boxes

The Richard Wheatley Deluxe Wooden Fly Boxes are attentively hand crafted from a choice of premium hard woods to create a stunning range of traditional fly cases.

These fly boxes are truly admirable with a luxurious cosmetic appearance and each box is delicately crafted from prime Cherry or American Black Walnut hardwood. The hardwood boxes are completed with three durable, protective coats of clear varnish, hand applied to the wood for a stunning finish.

Each box includes high quality, brass hinges and is opened and sealed using the intricately detailed brass clasp. On the very top of the box in the centre is a solid, brass name plate which adds to the luxury look and has enough space for a name engraving.

The interior of the fly box is fitted with either flat foam, ripple foam or 16 compartments. The foam is thick, durable and will hold flies securely in place. The 16 compartment interior is silver in colour with clear windows on top of each compartment so you can clearly view your flies. Each compartment is held shut with a small metal hinge, which when pulled forward, will open the compartment lid. To close, gently push the lid back down and the lid will click shut.
