Penn Squadron II Uptide

The Penn Squadron II Uptide is designed specifically for uptide fishing and features a sensitive tip with a 6-10oz rating to handle casting heavy lead weights.

Uptide fishing is a fishing method used on a boat where you cast your tackle up the tide and away from your boat. Built with slim diameter blanks and constructed from carbon fibre, this rod has a light weight with high strength and power.

The handle is made from EVA foam for comfort and the end includes a rubber gimbal which allows you to use a fighting belt if desired. The rod is fitted throughout with high quality guides and includes a reliable graphite reel seat.

The tip section is highly sensitive and supple for giving great bite indication. It is also a fluorescent orange colour to give excellent visibility in difficult weather conditions.

The Penn Squadron II Uptide is 9ft6 in length and is finished off with a white, red and black colour scheme to match the rest of the Squadron II range. This rod is supplied with a matching cloth bag for easy transportation.
