Penn Rampage II Uptide Rod

The Penn Rampage II Uptide Rod is highly powerful with a sensitive tip, designed specifically for uptide fishing and has a 70g - 300g rating to easily handle casting heavy leads.

Uptide fishing is a fishing method used on a boat where you cast your tackle up the tide and away from your boat. This rod has ultra slim diameter blanks and a strong, durable composite carbon construction for a light weight that packs plenty of power and back bone.

The long tip and short butt, 2 piece design allows the entire handle to detach from the rod. This construction enhances the performance of the blanks and provides a solid, stable and powerful blank design.

The handle is made from high quality, EVA foam for comfort and the end includes a rubber gimbal which allows you to use a fighting belt if desired. The rod is fitted throughout with high quality Fuji BNOG/BPOT guides and has a size 24 HDPSAH reel seat.

The Penn Rampage II Uptide Rod is 10ft in length and is finished off with a stunning red and black coloured body and is supplied in its very own quality cordura tube.
