The Penn Rampage II Braid Boat Combo features the new Rampage II Braid Boat Rod, matched with the versatile Warfare multiplier reel, complete with level wind. This kit is finished off with the super strong, Spiderwire Stealth Code Red Braid.
About the Penn Rampage II Braid Boat Rod
The Penn Rampage II Braid Boat Rod is specifically designed to be used with braided lines and is a perfect choice of rod for most aspects of fishing around UK shores.
These rods are highly durable and are able to effectively manage the additional strain, created by most braided lines. The strength of these rods is impressive considering the rod is also able to achieve a very light weight frame. This is due to the slim diameter blanks and the Carbon composite blank construction.
The Braid Boat rods have a long tip and short butt construction with 2 piece sections where the entire handle detaches from the bottom of the rod. This helps to maximise the blank performance and maintain exceptional power throughout the rod.
The rod is highly durable and strong and features a rod has a softer action which helps compensate for the lack of stretch on braid lines. The rod is finished off with a stunning red and black coloured body and is supplied in it's very own quality cordura tube.
The Penn Rampage II Braid Boat Rod is 8ft2 in length and is available in various different classes to suit a range of braid fishing.

The Penn Warfare multiplier reel is a highly versatile and lightweight reel that produces immense power and performance. This diverse and durable reel is perfect for sea fishing applications.
The Penn Warfare Level Wind is available in both left and right hand wind and has a stunning colour combination of black, red and smoke. This reel features level wind which gives huge advantage to your line lay. The level wind system moves back and forth to even out your line and keep it level at all times.
This multiplier reel has a graphite frame and side plates which help keep the frame light in weight. The spool is crafted from forged and machined aluminium which helps the reel maintain a lighter weight. Combined with the stainless steel frame rings on the side plates, this helps improve the reel's rigid body and prevents frame-flex.
This reel also includes HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers that even under heavy loads on your line, will still provide a smooth drag. There are also line capacity rings included so you'll always know how much line you've got left.
