The Penn Mag4 Surf range of rods are extremely high performing beach casting rods and are the perfect match for the Mag4 range of reels.
These rods are designed with a high modulus 40T carbon blank making it incredibly powerful, lightweight and highly responsive. With added carbon x-wrap technology, this increases the overall strength and decreases blank twist whilst improving casting accuracy and control.
Each rod is fitted with Fuji Alconite saltwater proof to enable you to fish braid and mono main lines and making it easy for the line to pass through the guides.
The rod has a sliding reel seat so it can be fished with fixed spool or multiplier reels. There is also an X-shrink casting grip to give maximum hold, allowing for longer casts to be made with ease.
There is a range of 3 styles to cover all shore fishing styles from sandy beaches to rocky bottoms. The rod also features a tip highlight for easy bite registration in low light conditions.
